- Booking Conditions – a £30 per week non-refundable deposit is required for all telephone and postal bookings or payment in full if less. When booking online payment in full is required. We ask that you accurately state the size of your unit (caravan, motor caravan, trailer-tent or tent) at the time of booking and once your booking has been accepted any change to your unit size may only be accepted at our discretion. Your contract is with Dornafield Limited and commences when your deposit is received. We are a family holiday park and regret that, except in some circumstances, bookings cannot be accepted from single sex parties or groups under the age of 21.
- Cancellations – deposits are strictly non-refundable. You may be charged for the full dates booked if we have not received suitable prior notice to your arrival date of any amendments. We strongly advise that you arrange your own holiday insurance. It is regretted that no refunds can be made if you depart prior to the end of the booked holiday.
- Arrival & Departure Times – pitches are reserved from 12 noon on the day of arrival until 11 am on the day of departure. The pitch must be vacated by this time and you must not arrive before 12 noon unless by prior arrangement. Those wishing to make a late departure should enquire at Reception if this is possible. Please do not arrive before 12 noon unless by prior arrangement because we do not have an early arrival area. If you intend arriving after 6:00 pm or are delayed you should inform us of your late arrival because your pitch may be re-let from 9:00 am the following day.
- Site License – our site license is for holiday use only. We are not permitted to accept commercial visitors or anybody intending to reside on the Park, even for a short time.
- Specific Pitches – we are sorry that we cannot guarantee specific pitches for bookings of four nights or less.
- Use of all weather gravel hardstandings – please site your caravan and awning, trailer-tent or tent wholly on the gravel hardstanding – it must not overlap the grass. These conditions apply to caravans, motor caravans, trailer tents and tents.
- Use of grass pitches – to protect the grass and allow it a chance to recover we ask all tents to move every seven days within their pitch.
- Awning Heaters – we do not allow the use of electric awning heaters. These are extremely harmful to the environment and are against Caravan Club rules.
- Conduct – we are a park offering peace and quiet and would ask that all guests show consideration to their neighbours. All guests must act in a courteous and considerate manner towards us, our staff and other guests.
- Children – parents are responsible for the behaviour and supervision of their children. Please remember the 10:30 pm all quiet rule. It is expected that all teenagers will be returning to their families by 10:30 pm. Young children must be accompanied by an adult when using the toilet and dishwashing facilities.
- Dogs Welcome – dogs are very welcome on the Park; but must be kept on a lead at all times, unless using the exercise area provided and must not be allowed to foul the Park (accidental fouling is the responsibility of the owners). You must not leave your dog unattended in your caravan, motor caravan, trailer-tent or tent at any time. We supply waste bags at various locations throughout the Park and expect them to be used.
- Cars – our fire regulations permit only one car per pitch, all other cars must be parked in the car park. There is a strict 5 mph speed limit on the site. No commercial vehicles will be admitted to the site.
- Bicycles – bicycles may be used at Dornafield apart from the hill between BlackRock Copse and Buttermeadow and around the toilet facilities. Helmets must be worn at all times.
- Barbecues – are permitted, using charcoal or gas, provided they do not cause annoyance to other guests but must be kept well clear of the grass. We do not permit campfires. Washing lines must not be tied to or between trees or between tents or caravans.
- Noise – there should be no undue noise after 10:30 pm or before 8:00 am in consideration of others, radios and TV’s must be kept on a low volume at all times.
- New arrivals and visitors – must call at Reception before entering the Park. Day visitors must park in the car parks. It is not acceptable for visitors to arrive when the reception is closed or to stay later than 10:30 pm.
- Additional Conditions for Customers who store their Caravans at Dornafield – Caravans must be clean and fully maintained in a mobile and roadworthy condition. A Storage Agreement must be signed prior to the caravan being stored. Hitch locks can be used but we are unable to accommodate wheel clamps. Payments for storage are non-refundable in the event of early departure. In the event of non-payment of storage fees, the caravan will be sold after three months have elapsed from the date the payment was required, so as to recover the costs of the storage payment.
- Data Protection – the information regarding your reservation will be stored on computer for future use. For the purpose of the Data Protection Act 1984 the signing of the booking/reservation form confirms your agreement unless you inform us otherwise. Please see our Data Policy.
- Access Statement – we seek to provide the very best service to all our guests and have a specially prepared Access Statement available which describes the facilities we have to offer on the Park. If you would like a copy, or wish to discuss any other special needs, please make our booking staff aware. Our full Health and Safety Action Plans are available for inspection in Reception
