CoronaVirus Closeing

Dear Valued Customer

22nd March 2020

At 12:15 today we were contacted by the Caravan & Motorhome Club and informed that as of immediate effect the whole network was closed until the end of June.

At 14:04 we were contacted by our trade organisation the BHHPA and as of now been advised by government guideline we should close as soon as practically possible.

Unfortunately it has become necessary for Dornafield to close until it is deemed safe for our customers and staff to reopen for the 2020 season.

This has been a very hard decision for us to take and after 47 years of developing the park with my family and team we have never had to deal with such an extreme situation. My only hope is that as a nation we beat this terrible virus and our lives are allowed to return to normal and we will be able to again welcome our customers back to Dornafield.

Could you please call or E -Mail us with alternative dates for your reservation and we will be happy to help. As we are not aware as to when we will be able to reopen we will be contacting arrivals one week prior to arrival only.

Your understanding and help with this situation is greatly appreciated and we will endeavour to keep Dornafield always ready to reopen.

Yours sincerely,

The Dornafield Team

Dear Valued Customer

Today it has become evident that touring parks are closing all over the country in response to the Coronavirus outbreak in the UK.

And we have just been informed that the Caravan & Motorhome Club is closing the entire UK network with immediate effect today.

So it is with great regret that I have to announce the closure of Dornafield until it is deemed safe for our customers and staff to reopen.

Dornafield will close tomorrow at 5pm and hopefully reopen very soon!

If you are a touring customer on Dornafield please come to reception where we will refund the remainder of your visit for your stay.

If you are a seasonal customer you may leave your van on site as long as it is disconnected from the water and electricity supply. We will refund you for the days that you cannot occupy your van and will charge you our normal storage nightly rate for those days if you chose to leave the van.

On behalf of my family and team here at Dornafield we thank you for being so understanding at this time of National Crisis.

Yours Sincerely

The Dornafield Team
